Taking a walk along one of iSimangaliso’s many designated walking trails is the best way to see the magnificent game animals that call the Park home. Common mammal sightings on the walking safaris include zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, impala, warthog, red and common duiker, common reedbuck, kudu, vervet and samango monkeys, banded mongoose and sometimes leopard, hyena and side-striped jackal.

St Lucia Zulu Cultural Tours is an Authentic Zulu experience that gives Guests an opportunity to visit the remote rural area Nkundusi (name of the village) situated in Northern KwaZulu Natal, Western shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park to learn about both the past and present lifestyle of the people living in Nkundusi Zulu village. A tour may include a performing Art Group who performs traditional Zulu dances, traditional ceremony, play and sing with the local children and/or a traditional church service.
