French speaking Finance Administrator – Accounting & Finance job – Market related salary – Cape Town, South Africa

Your key job responsibilities as the French speaking Finance Administrator in Cape Town, South Africa will include:

  • Assistance in setting-up a branch office in South Africa (incl. legal entity, bank account, office, accounting, management of taxation issues etc.)
  • Management of the local setup with regard to administration, financial, legal, tax and accounting in collaboration with external tax advisors and Managing Directors
  • Management of payroll accounting
  • Provide financial advice and guidance in all financial matters to the Managing Directors
  • Preparing financial statements, budgets, mid-term-plans and forecasts
  • Financial reporting to HQ
  • Ensuring reporting deadlines are kept in all areas of the company in Africa
  • Local procurement in alignment with HQ
  • Develop cash flow streams between various entities to ensure sufficient liquidity
  • Responsible for the cash flow management between the company and HQ
  • Management of day-to-day payments
  • Support the Managing Director in the preparation of the Market Review Meetings as well as in other meetings
  • Active interface between the company, HQ departments, tax advisors and auditors
  • Ensuring compliance and internal process standards in all business activities

Requirements for this French speaking Finance Administrator job in Cape Town, South Africa:

  • Degree in Business Administration or Finance (University of Economics and Business,
  • University of Applied sciences, or similar education with emphasis on commercial project management)
  • Strong knowledge of finance and basics in accounting
  • Several years vocational experience in the field of commercial project management for the construction of healthcare facilities or in similar construction business desirable
  • Excellent language skills in English and French, other languages are welcome
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications (especially MS Excel)
  • High degree of analytical skills, accurate, structured and self-dependent working methods
  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
  • Assertiveness, cross-functional thinking and communicative personality
