This team will will provide you an in-depth induction on how to collaborate with different services and customers, as well as train you on all the aspects of the translation role (tools, activities, reporting). Your key job responsibilities as the French speaking Translation Analyst Coordinator in Cape Town, South Africa will include:
- Managing translations for a variety of customers
- Responsible for translating from and into French/English (Spanish or any other languages is a plus)
- Work as part Translation Services team together with other colleagues
- Translate using our established Computer Assisted Translation tool (MemoQ)
- Translations from and into French (Spanish is a plus)
- Support the team’s monthly reporting on translation activities
- Support the team’s monthly finance reporting
- Identify and highlight improvement opportunities for Translation Services
- Monitor the Translation Services inbox, interact with customers and answer their queries regarding translations to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements for this French speaking Translation Analyst Coordinator job in Cape Town, South Africa:
- You are a French/English translator with native proficiency (preferably native speaker)
- You (preferably) possess translation experience in French and English
- Translation experience in Spanish/German is a plus
- Demonstrate where you have identified improvement opportunities
- Proactive, driven and take ownership and accountability for your translations
- Able to forge strong working relationships and maintain proximity to the operation
- You should have a collaborative approach to engagement
- Team player
