Your key job responsibilities as the German Customer Success – Team Lead in Cape Town will include:

  • Mentor and guide Expert Raters, enhancing their proficiency in evaluating advertising content while ensuring compliance with AI standards.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate global teams, ensuring seamless operations and communication across various time zones and cultures.
  • Promote a culture of learning and exploration within the team.
  • Handle payroll management, PTO (Paid Time Off) requests, and performance reviews for the Expert Rater team, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve evaluation quality, refine processes, and ensure Expert Raters meet the highest AI compliance standards.
  • Ensure all assessments and evaluations align with ethical considerations, AI standards, regulations, and platform policies.
  • Implement strategies to track and monitor Expert Rater performance, providing support and guidance to enhance their capabilities and efficiency.
  • Provide expertise in analyzing diverse datasets to identify meaningful patterns and trends, contributing to accurate evaluations and decisions.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads across regions to establish and maintain best practices and standardization, ensuring alignment with global product strategy.

Requirements for this German Customer Success – Team Lead job in Cape Town:

  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a leadership role, preferably within a technical or data-driven domain.
  • Understanding of data labeling, annotation, and evaluation methodologies (desirable).
  • Academic background in social sciences or quality roles is a plus.
  • Google AI learning path.
  • Machine learning.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their ethical implementation in advertising systems.
  • Understanding of advertising regulations, platform policies, and privacy laws.
  • Awareness of ethical considerations in advertising content evaluation, particularly when handling sensitive or controversial material.
