Your key job responsibilities as the Italian speaking Reservations Agent in Cape Town, South Africa will include:
- Conduct proper flight firming checks to maximize flight utilization and reduce no-shows.
- Assist mishandled passengers to minimize complaints.
- Utilize an online computer reservation system to determine space availability.
- Issue tickets and quote correct fares to reduce passenger complaints.
- Advise passengers of changes in flight plans or confirm/cancel reservations.
- Maintain inventory of available passenger space on flights.
- Record and process reservations made via phone, fax, or email.
- Prepare and execute action plans to increase reservation sales and associated business.
Requirements for this Italian speaking Reservations Agent in Cape Town, South Africa will include:
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- High school qualification with a minimum of two years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of a Computerized Reservation System is preferred.
- A sound understanding of world geography.
