A rapidly growing procurement company, which offers a reliable procurement solution out of South Africa to the Oil and Gas and related industries throughout Africa, are currently looking to expand their dynamic team with a Portuguese Accountant to join their Cape Town, South Africa offices.
As the Portuguese Accountant, your job will require you to be responsible for undertaking the full accounting function for foreign entities, in order to provide support to the Finance division.
Portuguese Accountant in Cape Town, South Africa job duties:
- Monthly management reports (reporting to Finance Manager) & liaising with foreign accountants & statutory bodies
- Audit preparation (local and foreign)
- Cash flow management
- Payroll administration
- Company administration, contract reviews, foreign statutory & legal research
Portuguese Accountant job requirements:
- Accounting qualification or similar
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Min 3-5 years’ experience
- Solid knowledge of international accounting standards
- Foreign tax knowledge advantageous
- Familiarity with exchange rates and working with several foreign currencies
